In this study, Henry Blackaby teaches about God's voice. Week by week, the author guides the reader through scriptures and other examples of ways God speaks to us. There is prayer, scripture, circumstances, and the Church all used to reveal His purposes, Himself, and His ways. I find it empowering that it is not just one but all of these, and that as God reveals Himself, it is more about who He is rather than a particular clear line of dialogue telling me what to do. April 27, 2008   Dad opens the service with The Gathering song In the Bulb There Is A Flower.  As soon as the congregation began to sing, I was brought to tears. The words first took me to singing around the piano with mom and dad at my house, where I first heard it. Then I was quickly transported to Uncle B's service last fall when my Aunt S. whispered to me, "I requested this one."  I n the bulb there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree; In cocoons, a hidden promise: butterflies will soon be free!
