Hello Readers,
Today's service opens with my Dad opening the service with Softyly and Tenderly another hymn in 3 (the meter dad excels). It occured to me recently that once my accounts on google are expired the links to the services will no longer be available to listeners, moving forward I will do my best to synopsize with this in mind. I will also connect them to my own life when possible.
In early 2008, I was finishing up my last year at my first teaching job and about to be hired to my first full time job at a small rural district. It was an exciting and somewhat scary time, much like my mom's prayer request. My sister preaches about giving testimony and telling the truth as a witness. The sermon challenges us to 'show up to testify or there is no case' and that is what I am challenging myself to do. Without the audio, readers will rely on the Blogger posts to testify regarding how my family celebrated and worshiped each week. My sister's ability to preach includes orating well-prepared sermons, blending scripture and real-life examples.
Thanks for reading.
Stay well,
AmyBH
