1'03 There's a Sweet Sweet Spirit

Hello Readers,

We have bright orange poppies that bloom this time of year and my friend MD, whose birthday is also this time of year, has always loved them. When she lived closer we would try each year to take the seeds so that she could plant them in her own yard, she is an excellent gardener. Now that she lives too far to keep trying, I text her photos of them each year on her birthday.

The closing hymn reminds me of the importance of the relationship I have with MD and other loved ones that live far away from me. There's a sweetness when we're together, face-to-face or virtually, that revives me and nourishes my soul.

Thanks for reading.

Stay well,

AmyBH
